You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.
This exercise asks you to create a report looking like this:

There's a lot to do for this - hints and tips follow!
To start off, if you haven't already done so, restore the database in the above folder into Analysis Services in Management Studio (not for copying or commercial use). The database should contain 3 dimensions and one cube called MAM.
Create a data source and then data set to show all sales for the town of Bootle:

The first couple of the 7 rows returned.
Here are some hints to help you create the report itself:
- To get the blue dotted line around the edge of the report, you'll need to create a rectangle and put your table within it (you can then set the border lines for the rectangle).
- To get the average, click within the total cell and change Summarize By to Average.
- To get the spacing for the average box and its caption, set right padding.
- To omit lines having 20 items sold or more, you'll need to apply a filter to either the dataset or the table.
When you've finished, save this report as Bootle, then close it down.
