Power BI Desktop updates for January 2026 Part three of a six-part series of blogs |
|---|
|
This month's update brings customisable markers for Azure maps, a new colour picker and the ability to reset part of the formatting only for a visual.
|
You can now reset the formatting for a group of properties within a visual, without affecting the rest of the visual's formatting properties:

Here I want to reset all formatting for the bars.
You can do this by clicking on the formatting group's Reset to default button:

You've always been able to reset all of the properties for a visual - or a single property - but this group option is new.
I think this is one of those changes which most people will assume had always been there in Power BI Desktop!
