Despite investing so much effort into improving it over the years, Microsoft have taken the decision to deprecate the Q&A visual at the end of this year (2026):

Enjoy this sight while you can!

The obvious reason for this is that Microsoft are investing in extending Copilot into Power BI instead (albeit at an extra cost).

I for one won't miss the Q&A visual. I never saw the point of a visual which asked the report consumer to guess what would be the most suitable format for displaying data: it seemed to me a typical example of how AI could never really be made to work properly.
