This is strangely impressive! Suppose that you have a multivalue slicer, and want to choose (simultaneously) the U, PG and 15 certificates:

I've got these options in a text file - now I want to apply them in one go.

All that you have to do is to copy the text, providing that it's separated by carriage returns:

Here I'm using Notepad, but any text editor would do - including Word.

Now paste these onto your slicer:

You can use the visual header menu, as above, or just press Ctrl + V.

Instant karma!

Provided that you've typed the values correctly, they are selected.

The only thing to watch out for is that you type correctly. If you don't, you get something like this:

If Power BI can't match any pasted values, it adds them as separate selections in the slicer.

One strange thing about this: you can't (yet, at any rate) paste values into the input slicer, even though this would seem the most obvious application of this new feature.
