October sees the release of button slicers from preview and a very welcome feature to set table column widths automatically.

The October 2025 Power BI update introduces two small changes for report writers:

Change	Notes
Table and column widths	At long last column widths can automatically change according to the data being displayed!
Button slicer options	There are a couple of options to improve the dispay of button slicers, now out of preview.

Here's the full list of features currently in preview (I'm not sure which should be ticked or unticked by default!):

The list grows ever longer ...

The single biggest change for most report builders would be the roll-out of on-object interaction, but there's no sign of this happening any time soon.
