Last month Microsoft introduced the ability to make table column widths expand automatically to fill their containing visual. They've now extended this to matrix column widths:

The new option allows matrices to expand horizontally to fill their visuals.

Here's the property which controls whether columns expand like this:

The property you'll need to update.

Every little helps! Although it was more exciting for tables, it's true.
