Decide whether you want to write your macro in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook or some other program, and open this application!
Create a macro which:
Instantiates a new FileSystemObject (don't forget to reference the Microsoft Scripting Runtime object library first)
Lists out all of the Excel workbooks in the above folder
To list out Excel workbooks only, use the INSTR function to pick out only files which contain the letters .XLSX.
Your final answer should look something like this:
There are more files in the folder than this, but only these five are Excel workbooks
Save this file as Listing Excel files, then close it down.
