You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.
If you haven't already done so, restore the database in the above folder into Analysis Services in Management Studio (not for copying or commercial use). The database should contain 3 dimensions and one cube called MAM.
Create a dataset consisting of two dimensions and one measure:

The columns in your dataset should look like this.
Now create a matrix based on this dataset to show the number of transactions for each species and quadrant:

Add subtotals at the bottom of your matrix.
Save this report as The Matrix, then close it down.
