When you create a calculated column in Power BI, its format defaults to General. You can see the format applied to the selected column in the Column tools tab of the ribbon:

The Metres per Unit column is displayed with 12 decimal places when using this default format.
To apply a specific format to the selected column, from the ribbon select Column tools | Format and choose a format from the drop down list.

Here we're choosing the Decimal number format.
The Decimal number format defaults to 2 decimal places but you can adjust this as shown below:

Use the spin button below the Format property to adjust the number of decimal places.
