In a previous tip, we covered How to format Decimal Numbers in Power BI columns.
In this tip, we want to apply a custom format to the Metres per Unit column shown below.

The standard Decimal number format doesn't use a comma to separate thousands.
To add a custom number format, click into the Format box and delete the current text.

You can enter your own text in the Format box rather than choose an existing format.
Type #,##0.00 into the Format box and press Enter to apply the change.

Each number now has a comma separating the thousands.
