Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file (if you have any problems doing this, click here for help).

You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. Connect to this in DAX Studio, and create a query to list out for each genre the average run time in minutes and total number of Oscars won:

List the genres in alphabetical order - you should see something like this.


Save your query as Genre stats.dax, then close it down.
