Use date-based crieria in a query to show different combinations of tracks

If you don't have a copy of the music_01 database, first follow the instructions at the following link to create it: https://www.wiseowl.co.uk/postgres/exercises/postgres-sql/using-postgres/5350/

Write a query to return the following data from the track table, sorted with the most recently released track at the top of the list, but only for tracks released as singles on the 24th of March 2022.

Don't forget to wrap the date in single quotes and write it in a format that PostgreSQL will recognise.

Feel free to hum along to any of these. You mean you don't know them? Perhaps picking a better date range will help you recognise some of the singles? Write another query in the same script which shows singles released before the 1st of January 2000.

The first of the 874 tracks released before 2000.

Maybe choosing a specific decade will make the results more interesting. Add a query to return the singles released in your favourite musical decade. For example, to pick singles from the 80s you need to find tracks whose release date is between the 1st of January 1980 and the 31st of December 1989.

The first of the 311 tracks released in the 1980s.

Finally, modify the query so that it returns only the singles which reached number 1 in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in the decade you've chosen.
