This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.
Open the Dinosaurs.xlsx file and create a new script.
The aim of the exercise is to use a while loop to colour the cells of each row according to which period the dinosaur lived in.
For reference, the colours used here are orange, cornflowerblue and palegreen.
A basic outline for your script could be:
Create a Range variable to refer to cell A2.
Create a loop which continues while the value of the cell in the variable is not an empty string.
Check the value of the cell corresponding to the period in which the dinosaur lived and colour in the row accordingly.
Set the range variable to reference the cell that is one row below.
Run the script to check that it works, then save and close it and the workbook.
