In a Power Pivot data model, you often want to apply the same format to multiple columns in different tables.
The problem is that in the Data View, you can only select multiple columns from one table at a time, and then only if they are next to each other.
Having selected Tickets sold I could hold down Shift and click Tickets available to add it to the selection.
To solve this problem, switch to the Diagram View by choosing Home | Diagram View from the Power Pivot ribbon. You can now select multiple columns from different tables by holding Ctrl and clicking on the column names.
Select as many columns as you like and then apply the relevant formatting options.
The only annoying thing is that you have to switch back to the Data View to see the results!
