When you click and drag to draw shapes in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), you can stretch the shape horizontally and vertically.
I'm trying to draw a circle but it's not going well!
If you want to draw a regular shape (i.e. one where the height and width are equal), you can hold the Shift key while you click and drag.
A perfect circle!
