Copilot now includes a separate facility to design promotional and other material, so I thought I'd give this a test:

I asked Copilot to create a poster using Wise Owl themes, celebrating (prematurely) that we've reached 250,000 subscribers on our YouTube channel - this is the result.

Creating a brand

To begin with, I uploaded our logo (which I notice Copilot hasn't used for the example above) and created a brand:

Start by selecting to Create something.

I then uploaded an image and added some brand colours using these links:

It's easy enough to upload an image and add your corporate colours.

Choosing what you want to create

You can then choose what you want to create - I went for a poster:

The More... button allows you to choose from a longer list, but the Design a poster button is in the banner at the top.

I then typed in this description:

This seemed to me to be enough information for Copilot to build on.

Copilot then took a couple of minutes at least to produce the poster shown at the top of this page (and repeated here):

The kindest thing you can say about this poster is that it is functional.

Problems with this service

I suspect that this is trying to do something impossible, but here are my main gripes:

Problem	Notes
Lack of research	Given the information provided, I expected Copilot to visit our YouTube channel (which is obviously publicly available), download some interesting statistics and present these as part of my poster. Sadly, none of this happened!
Lack of imagination	The design of the poster is deeply disappointing. It includes the bare information I supplied (using the colours I included within the Wise Owl brand), but then did the bare minimum of work to produce a dull poster (and it even introduced errors in this, such as the thousands separator not being a comma and YouTube appearing in upper case.
Hard to edit	Above all, though, the final poster is useless to me if I can't quickly make simple edits. Because it was created as an image I'll now have to use slow, cumbersome image editing instructions to make the changes I want (this tends to give unreliable results also).

All in all, I feel that this service is included more to show direction of travel than to be genuinely useful. Or am I being unfair?
