The Excel workbook in the above folder shows a list of the tallest buildings in the world at the time of writing:
China dominates, as you are about to find out.
The Python code in the file in the above folder contains (and runs) a function to show two dataframes:
# get and show the two dataframes
buildings_by_country, buildings_by_year = get_building_data()
print(buildings_by_country)
print(buildings_by_year)
Try running the code in this file to check that it works (you'll need to change the path to the Excel workbook).
Using these two dataframes see if you can create a figure with two axes to look something like this:
The first chart shows the average height in metres by year of opening as a bar chart; the second shows the number of buildings by country as a pie chart, with a legend.
Note that your charts don't have to look like this (hopefully they will look better!). Feel free to add gridlines to the bar chart and any other formating embellishments which take your fancy.
