When you're writing long DAX formulas in Power Pivot, it's useful to see line numbers next to your code.
Line numbers don't appear by default in a Power Pivot formula.
To display line numbers, select the code and press Ctrl + Shift + L twice.
Press Ctrl + Shift + L once to show bullet points, then again to show line numbers.
You can carry on pressing the keyboard shortcut to cycle through a variety of line-numbering options.
If you press the shortcut enough times you'll return to having no line numbers.
