In Power BI, table columns change their widths automatically by default.
If you want to fix the column widths of a selected table:
Select the Format visual panel.
Expand the Layout card.
Change the Auto-size behavior property to Fixed width.
Enable the Custom widths property and adjust the individual column widths.
Here's an example of a table with fixed column widths:

You can also change the column widths by clicking and dragging between the column headers on the table.
