Add a button to a Power BI report to send yourself or Teams a list of pizzas chosen

This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file.

Open the Power BI report in the above folder:

The report shows a breakdown of calories by pizza for whichever type is selected (PizzaExpress aficionados may recognise the data!).

Your task is to add the Power Automate button shown at the bottom to send yourself a list of the pizzas chosen by email (or to post the list on a Teams chat if you prefer - or both!).

Here's what the result could look like when you hold down the Ctrl key and click on your button:

You could post a message to a Teams chat (left) or send yourself an email (right) - both actions use the output from a Create HTML table action that you should also create.

The folder shown at the top of the exercise includes CSS styles that you could apply to an HTML table to get your email to look nice, but Teams messaages seem to just ignore CSS.

Test that your button works for different pizzas types (and indeed for an individual pizza selection)!
