Create a slightly pointless basic flow to show your name and the date

This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Create a flow called Exercise NN - Show who and when. The aim of this flow it so use a Compose action to show when a flow was run, and who ran it:

Your flow should start with a manual trigger, and contain a single Compose action showing two bits of dynamic content, as shown here.

If you're thinking that this is pointless (creating a flow whose only purpose is its own existence) then you're probably right, although a) exercises have to start somewhere and b) isn't this the human condition too?

Run your flow - you should see something like this:

Your flow should show the date on which it was run and the id of the user who ran it.

Rename your Compose action and add a note to it to make it easier to understand (possibly):

This is only a suggestion: please feel free to use a name and note in your own style (or in the agreed style of your employer?).

Now save your flow, then return to the Power Automate home page.
