Out of 21 entries to our October 2025 misprinted film titles competition, our Excel sorting hat chose Samual Rodway of Barnsley Council as the winner. You can see each misprinted and corrected film title below.

We had 21 entries for last month's guess-the-misprinted-film-title competition, out of which our randomised Excel sorting hat chose Samual Rodway of Barnsley Council's as the winning one (pleasingly, Sam was also one of a few people who got all 18 answers correct).

If you're wondering just how random the sorting hat is, each month I type the =RAND() function next to each person's entry in Excel to generate a random number between 0 and 1, presss F9 to recalculate the worksheet 10 times with my eyes closed, take the values for the resulting cells' formulae then sort the results into descending order. Sam scored 0.973672 to head the leaderboard. I ALWAYS accept the first answers given, even when I would prefer that somebody else had won (which obviously wasn't the case this month).
