The February update enables the big new formatting pane in Power BI by default, as well as introducing changes to mobile view and multi-row cards.
- Updates to Power BI Desktop - February 2022
- The new formatting pane is now live (sort of)
- Mobile-optimised Reports and Mobile-Only Formatting
- Multi card visuals now support visual interactions (this blog)
We've been creating our idiosyncratic monthly blogs on Power BI updates since November 2016, and also deliver online and classroom Power BI courses.

You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our blogs. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.
Multi card visuals now support visual interactions
When you select rows in a multi-card visual, this now filters other data on the same page, making multi-card visuals behave like all other ones (I must admit I never use them, and hadn't realised that you couldn't already do this):

If you select multiple rows in the multi row card visual at the top, for example, the chart at the bottom will only show data for the selected products.
You can use the Ctrl key to add products on to your selection and the Shift key to select a range of rows.
Except ... this doesn't work on my updated copy of Power BI! I can't think what I can possibly be doing wrong - can you?
