In VBA, you can comment out a line of code by typing an apostrophe at the beginning of the line.
The Exit Sub line has been converted into a comment.
If you want to comment out multiple lines, it's annoying to have to type an apostrophe at the beginning of each line, so don't!
Instead, from the Visual Basic Editor menu select View | Toolbars | Edit to display the Edit toolbar.
You can drag the toolbar to the top of the screen to dock it alongside the other toolbars.
Next, select at least part of each line you want to comment out and click on the Comment Block button on the Edit toolbar.
You only need to select part of a line for it to be included in the comment block.
All the lines you selected will be converted into comments.
The commented code.
You can uncomment the block by selecting the relevant lines and clicking the Uncomment Block button on the Edit toolbar.
Use this button to reverse the process.
