When you are using a slicer in Power BI, you can apply a search filter.
You can enable the search option by clicking the ellipses in the top right corner of the slicer:
Click Search to add the search box to the slicer.
When you enter a value the slicer applies a filter to the slicer values.
Here I am filtering the CentreName to show items containing Park
You can even use the * wildcard to represent any number of characters.
Now I can search for any CentreName that has Castle followed by a space, then any number of characters, another space and then Park
Or you could use a ? to represent a single character.
This allows me to search for any CentreName with a C followed by 5 characters, a space then Park
Remember that the slicer looks for items which contain your search phrase.
