Your Power BI App is published and the reports grouped into sections and looking nice.
Then the pesky users ask to see where the data is coming from without having to hunt for it.

Where did this data come from?
We can insert buttons that link to the available data sources. These could include websites, SharePoint lists, OneDrive files and more.

Click Add content | Add a link to insert a web link.
In this example, I want to attach the Excel file that powers this report, stored in a SharePoint document library.

Give the button a name and paste the link to your file.
Republish your app and after a few minutes, you can enjoy the finished result.

Clicking the link will open the data source.
Try this with different link types and consider grouping them into a single section.

Sadly, this won't work for local data sources.
