We've been creating our idiosyncratic monthly blogs on Power BI updates since November 2016, and also deliver online and classroom Power BI courses.

Changes in the February 2023 Power BI Update

Although there are quite a few changes in this month's update, none of them is particularly significant. But don't let me dictate to you - judge for yourself!

Change	Notes
New relationship editor	This has been around in preview for some time now, but since it's now turned on by default I thought it was time to blog about it.
Hard-coded conditional formatting	You can now colour columns or bars by their names (for example, you could stipulate that the North region should be blue).
Better page navigator control	There's now a feature allowing you to exclude or include certain pages from page navigators.
Text box indentation	You can now indent text within a text box!
Accessible themes	Microsoft have created a few accessible themes for you to use as a basis for reports.
New DAX regression functions	The LINEST and LINESTX functions allow you to get linear regression coefficients.
Better image dimension control	You can now change both the height and the width of images in tables and matrices.

I blogged about field parameters in my November update 3 months ago. I keep hoping that modern visual tooltips will be released formally, but failing this I might cover these in next month's update blog.
