In Power Automate Desktop (PAD), the majority of flows will use variables to store data for use elsewhere in the flow.
You can view variables in the Variables pane on the right hand side.

You can click the variables symbol {x} to show and hide the pane.
When you run a flow you can see the values stored in each variable and they remain even after the flow has completed.

The flow has finished and you can still see the values stored in variables.
When you next run the flow the variables will be cleared ready for the next values to be stored.
Occasionally you may need them to be cleared before running the flow again. To do this, click the three dots in the top right of the Variables pane and choose Clear values.

Click the three dots in the Variables pane and choose Clear values.
Your variables will now be empty again!

The stored values have now been cleared.
