Create a new flow called Weekday messages, and within this create two blank subflows:
Your main flow should call subflows called GetWeekDay and ShowMessage.
The aim of this flow is to display different messages as follows:
|Day of the week||Message to show|
|Monday||Oh no - it's Monday!|
|Friday||Yeah - it's Friday!|
|Any other day||Just another working day ...|
To do this, complete your two subflows:
|Subflow||What it should do|
|GetWeekDay||Get the current date, then covert this to text using the custom formatting code ddd.|
|ShowMessage||Test whether this is Mon, Fri or some other day, and display a suitable message for each case.|
Run your flow to test if it works. Did it give you the right message?
Although this may seem a frivolous example, you could obviously use it in anger (for example, to call different back up routines on different days of the week).
Save your flow and close it down!
