Open the Choc Shop.xlsx file and create a new script. The aim of the exercise is to check that each cell containing a cost value on the Inputs worksheet contains a negative number.
Each cost should be a negative number, formatted with round brackets.
To loop through the range of cells containing costs you could:
Create variables to hold the row and column numbers of the first and last cells in range F6:Q8.
Create a for loop to count from the first to last row numbers.
Nest another for loop within the first to count from the first to last column numbers.
Use the counter variables to reference each cell in the range.
Change the colour of a cell if its value is greater than 0.
Run the script to highlight the positive numbers.
The cells with positive numbers should stand out.
Alter the script so that instead of highlighting positive cells, it changes their values to become negative.
You can change a value to a negative number by preceding it with a minus symbol:
myVariable = -myVariable;
Run the script again to change the positive numbers to negative numbers.
Save and close the script and workbook.
