Open the RRH Maze.xlsx file. The aim of the exercise is to write a script which follows the direction in each cell until Little Red Riding Hood reaches safety.
Each letter corresponds to the direction in which to offset to reach the next cell.
A basic outline for how to do this could be:
Use a Range variable to get a reference to cell B2 and select this cell.
Begin a loop which continues while the value of the cell in the variable does not include the word Safe.
Read the value of the cell in the range variable.
Use an if statement to set the range variable to refer to the cell that is offset in the appropriate direction.
Select the new cell in the range variable.
To check if a cell contains a word you can use the includes method. The basic syntax is:
Run the script and make sure that Little Red Riding Hood makes it to Grandma's cottage safely.
Save and close the script and workbook.
