This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.
Open the Dinosaurs.xlsx file and create a new script.
The aim of the exercise is to use arrays to calculate new values from the data in the list.
Use the getValues method to populate an array with the numbers from columns F and G on the worksheet. Use a type cast to make sure you retrieve the values as numbers.
The numbers represent the length and height in metres of each dinosaur.
Loop through the contents of the array and multiply each value by 3.28084 to change it from metres to feet.
Use the setValues method to write the contents of the array to an appropriately-sized range beginning in cell L2. Add some column headings as a finishing touch.
You could apply some number formatting if you like.
Save and close the script and workbook.
