Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file (if you have any problems doing this, click here for help).

You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.

Open the file contained within the folder name shown above.

Use the Page Layout tab to help you set the following print options:

  • Landscape orientation
  • A print area of cells A1:J37
  • Print titles so that the headings on row 3 appear on every page
  • A header/footer to display the date in the top left, centre name in the top right and page numbering in the centre of every page.

Your preview screen show look like this:

Use Save As... to save the file in your own new Excel work folder.
