Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.
Adding your Wise Owl Course Certificate to LinkedIn
You can now show off your new skills on LinkedIn - this blog shows you how!
Training certificates appear at the bottom of your LinkedIn profile, and let people know that you've attended courses.
Adding your Certificate
Before you begin, I'm going to make two assumptions:
- That you've got a LinkedIn account; and
- That you've received a link from Wise Owl to your certificate.
This being the case, all that you need to do is to click on this link. For those who like to see what they're doing, here's the link in full:
You can then fill in the form which appears:
See below for how to fill in the boxes!
Here's what to put in each box:
|Box/question||What to put|
|Certification name||The name of the course you attended (as on your certificate)|
|Certification authority||Wise Owl Training|
|Time period||Choose the From month and year when the course took place, and tick the This certification does not expire box to make the end month/year questions disappear!|
|Certification URL||Paste in the link that you've been sent.|
|Share profile changes||Your call!|
Finally, click on the Save button to save your changes.
Testing your Change
You should now find a Certificates section on your profile:
Your shiny new certificate!
You can click on the drop arrow on the right to view your certificates:
Click on this arrow to expand this section.
You can now see details for each certificate:
Click on this link to show your certificate on screen.
The URL has a unique licence key, so it's almost impossible to fake:
You may notice that this is in somebody else's name - that's because I've never actually attended one of our courses as a delegate!
