A logic puzzle competition - which influencer is which?
---
For our Autumn 2026 newsletter we have a fun logic puzzle - and have even provided an Excel grid to help you solve it.
I met up with 5 old school friends last night, all of whom are trying to make it as online influencers. We had a few too many drinks, and now I'm desperately trying to remember who's who! Sadly I can only remember a few random facts, which are:
The influencers with the most and the least number of followers both have screen names beginning with K.
KPI started 3 years after Rob did.
Ade started after Rob, but has fewer followers than him.
The 3 people with the fewest followers started in odd-numbered years.
Mo has 1,700 more followers than PewDieWhy.
Jas, Logan Prawn and the person who started in 2022 live in 3 different houses in the same street.
KPI started before Ade did.
Can you help me remember which friend is which influencer, when each person started and how many followers they have? You may find the grid below useful:

Use the grid to eliminate impossible combinations. Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth (as Sherlock would say).
You may find it even easier to use our Excel tool to complete the puzzle: either a workbook containing just the basic grid, or one complete with helpful macros and some clever (if complicated) formulae.
When you think you've solved the grid successfully send your answer to our newsletter editor (me) at this address:

The email address to use.
The first entry drawn out of our randomised electronic sorting hat will win a £50 voucher and (if agreeable) a mention in our next newsletter. It is up to you to decide which of these prizes you think is more valuable.
