Excel VBA Macros | Forms exercise | Dinosaur form with lots of controls
This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.
You can learn how to do this exercise if you attend one of more of the courses listed below!
You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.
Create and make work a form for entering new dinosaurs into this spreadsheet. When you click on the Add button, your macros should validate the data entered and transfer it into the first blank row of the dinosaur list.
The first two pages of your multipage control could look like this (see below for the other two pages):
A text box, a combo box, a list box and two check boxes
The other two pages could look like this:
3 text boxes (each with their own spinner control) and 3 option buttons
Save this workbook as Dinosaur form, and close it down.
