SQL | Archived exercise | Function to return punk era

You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. Create a function using a CASE statement to return the punk era for any given date, using these dubious statistics:

  • Punk is defined to have begun on 1st January 1975
  • Punk finished on 31st December 1979

Write a query using your function to test it works:

Amend your query so that it shows how many events there were for each era, with the busiest era first:
