Create slicers and timelines to filter pivot tables based on a Power Pivot data model.

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file .

Open the Music Tours Slicers.xlsx file in the folder shown above.

You should find two pivot tables.

Create two slicers for the Albums pivot table which allow you to filter by the Album type and Genre columns.

Position and format the slicers to your own preference.

Create two slicers for the Tours pivot table which allow you to filter by the Country and Venue type columns.

Apply any formatting you like.

Add a timeline slicer to the Albums pivot table to filter by Album release date and another to the Tours pivot table to filter by Show date.

Change the timelines to filter by YEARS.

Add a slicer which allows you to filter both pivot tables by the Artist column.

Make sure the slicer affects both pivot tables.

Save and close the file.
