Create pivot charts using a Power Pivot data model of the world's tallest buildings

This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file .

Open the Tallest Buildings Pivot Charts.xlsx file in the folder shown above.

Use the Power Pivot data model to create the following pivot table:

Apply formatting to the numbers to tidy up the results.

Select any part of the pivot table and choose to insert a stacked column chart.

Part of the chart you should see.

Sort the pivot table in descending order of the Average of Floors above ground value, then use the Country report filter to select a single country.

Both the table and chart should be sorted and filtered.

In Power Pivot, choose to create a single pivot chart on the same worksheet as the existing pivot table and pivot chart. Configure the chart as shown below:

Feel free to apply any formatting options you like.

Check that filtering the pivot table has no effect on the new pivot chart then save and close the file.
