This exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to choose the correct Wise Owl Microsoft training course, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.
The aim of this exercise is to list out all of the flows you've created which start with a given letter:

What you might see, for example, if you set the initial letter to L.
Create a new flow called Exercise NN - list selected flow names (it should be manually triggered).
Initialise two variables:
Variable name | Type | Value |
|---|---|---|
InitialLetter | String | The letter your flows should begin with (L for the above example). |
SelectedFlowNames | Array | [] (that is, an empty array) |
Add an action to list your flows:

You may have to scroll a long way to find this - it's in the Power Automate Management category.
Add a condition that each flow's display name should start with your given initial letter:

Because you have an array of flow names, this will automatically add in an Apply to Each loop.
Complete your flow:

If a flow name starts with the required letter you should append the name of the flow to your array.
Your final Compose action should just show the contents of the array SelectedFlowNames. Run your flow to check it works, trying a couple of different letters.
A final thought: how would you cope with the situation when there aren't any flows which begin with your given letter?
