Power Automate Desktop is the new Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software from Microsoft which allows you to automate anything you do in Windows, including sending emails, printing, working with Excel, browsing websites, filling in forms and much, much more.  Think of it as like the Windows equivalent of VBA, allowing you to automate things that you do (you can even record what you're doing as a sequence of replayable steps), but with no programming involved. This two-day course will give practical examples of many of the most common tasks that you might want to automate (we hope!), and also explain underlying concepts of Power Automate Desktop such as variables, lists, conditions and loops.

Sample customer feedback

Our thanks to everyone who agreed to share their thoughts (note that some of these reviews may be for our online courses).

"Excellent course delivery. Research about the company and feedback from colleagues informed choice."

Olu Sonuga (London Borough of Newham)

"Superb job. One of the best courses I've been on. Fantastic trainer - very knowledgeable, hugely personable and an excellent presenter. We had a lot to cover in the three days. Not once did I feel rushed, not once was the instruction anything other than clear, well explained and very well organised. Kudos too to the people who write your manuals - they are excellent - clear, concise and easy to absorb. This is my second Wise Owl course and I will sing your praises to anyone who cares to listen. What makes the difference? The human touch and the thought and care. You're dealing with a person, not an opaque and convolution online registration process. A great deal of effort has gone in to the content of the courses and their manuals and above all they're delivered by likeable, knowledgeable people who want you to learn."

Tony Smith (Newark and Sherwood District Council)

"The course was great and I also wanted to reinforce my positive feedback: only a few days after the course and about one third of the exercises done, I was able to create a set of quite complex reports and I feel totally capable of delivering new analysis and reports in Power BI. Thanks again to our trainer for the great training provided. "

Elisabetta Zampichelli (Goodfellow)

"Really informative and good use of interaction. Engaging trainer who is clearly very passionate about SQL & always happy to answer questions/explain things further. Recommended by colleagues."

Alex Martin (URIS Group/Towergate Insurance)

"Very interesting and relevant course. Lots of useful information, now need to practice. Recommendation came from a colleague."
