Advanced SSRS

Classroom training course - online version also available

£750 + VAT for most venues (£895 + VAT for London)

2 days

If you can already create reports using either Report Builder or Reporting Services, we'd like to show you what else SSRS can do! This two-day advanced course will show you how to create and use variables; why and how you should base your reports on views and stored procedures; and how to use bookmarks, document maps and dynamic reports.  If you're getting a group of people up to speed on SSRS from scratch, combining this and our two-day Introduction to SSRS course together makes for a nice three-day onsite course.

We don't have any dates scheduled for this course, but we may well consider adding them - it's always worth asking.

Alternatively, you could enquire about running the course in your office or even (if available) as a tailored online course.

Sample customer feedback

Our thanks to everyone who agreed to share their thoughts (note that some of these reviews may be for our online courses).

"I thought that our trainer was excellent and made the two days a really enjoyable and informative experience."

Robert Smith (Valuation Office Agency)

"Our trainer did an amazing job. She was so patient and explained everything very well. I learnt a lot of new techniques."

Karen Chambers (Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA))

"Wise Owl are brilliant at virtual training which cannot be easy currently. I had my doubts it would be as effective as a classroom, but I was reassured with the pre-test before the course and it turned out to be. The admin was brilliant and our trainer was excellent and patient despite my HP laptop with no mouse. "

Gary Meyler (Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC, ex MHCLG))

"The content of the course was great and was supported by an extensive manual which I am grateful for. The course is really well organised and I loved that the trainees were applying live what they were learning using the remote desktop. I also loved that the trainer could see on his screen what we were doing and give us live feedback. I have seen how Devon County Council has used Power BI to share their traffic collision data in a visual way, and we would like to achieve something similar in Plymouth. The course is one step forward towards it."

Angelique Kergosien (Plymouth City Council)

"It ran really smoothly. A great trainer - very thorough, goes at a good pace and is able to answer questions well. Course materials are also great."

Zoe Anastasiou (Valuation Office Agency)
