Word Short-Cut Key to go to Previous Cursor Position

I've been using Microsoft Word for many, many years (Wise Owl courseware is written in Word, albeit with the help of a number of macros).

All this time I've been searching for a keyboard short-cut to return the cursor to its previous position, and I've found it!

I've checked that this works in Word 2003 and 2013 - I assume it works for all versions in between.

This proves:

  1. How the smallest things can change your life (if you're sad enough, anyway); and
  2. Blogs don't have to be long!
