You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our blogs. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.
September 2021 Power BI Update
This is a month of small changes!
|Shape and image buttons||Action buttons can now be hexagons, arrows or even speech bubbles, and buttons can also show images.|
|Power Automate connector||You can now directly run Power Automate flows from within a Power BI report.|
|Line chart series labels||You can attach labels to each series of a multiple line chart.|
|Waterfall chart totals||You can now choose not to show totals for waterfall charts.|
|New DAX features||You can include yes/no comparisons with aggregate functions in CALCULATE formulae, and you can now set a locale when formatting dates.|
|Graphanate pictograms||There's a new custom visual for creating pictograms (bar or column charts using custom icons as the filler).|
And here are the features currently waiting in preview, to save you looking!
There are no major new features being previewed this month, but lots of old friends still on the list!
