Easter Quiz 2021 - Competition Winner, Results and Analysis
This picture quiz was slightly harder than previous ones. Here are some statistics:
Statistic | Number |
---|---|
Number of finished quizzes | 47 |
Approximate average number of correct answers | 13 |
Approximate average number of wrong answers | 5.5 |
Approximate average number of answers not given | 1.5 |
This gave an average score of about 67. Three people managed to get every answer right, and scored 100 - kudos to Paul H, Sue M and Simon R.
The question people found easiest was this one, which 41 out of 47 people got correct:

I think it's Kurt Cobain from Nirvana, but I had to Google this one!
By contrast, the question most people got wrong (although impressively 20 out of 47 people actually got it right) was this one:

The answer is Aries or Taurus, as Easter can be any time from March 22nd to April 25th (both dates are later than I would have guessed - I'd have done badly on this quiz without having looked up the answers!).
Congratulations to Pat Watt of Skills Development Scotland for winning this month's competition (everyone's chances of winning were weighted by their quiz score). Pat wins this month's £50 prize, which he has generously donated to Macmillan Cancer Relief.
