This Visual Basic for Applications RECORDING MACROS AND BUTTONS exercise is provided to allow potential course delegates to assess their suitability for the Wise Owl EXCEL VISUAL BASIC course only, and may not be reproduced in whole or in part in any format without the prior written consent of Wise Owl.

Exercise: Adding buttons and toolbar to maze

1) Download the files needed to start this exercise: exercise-112.zip (and click here if you experience any problems unzipping this file after downloading it).
2) The above workbook contains pre-recorded macros called Down, Left, Up and Right (which take you down, left, up or right one cell respectively!).  Create new buttons on your workbook to make these macros easier to run:

3) If you have time, try creating a new toolbar called Maze allowing you to run the same macros:

4) If you are twiddling your thumbs, why not add an extra tool to your toolbar?  It is up to you what you draw on this tool, but here is a suggestion:

5) Save your workbook and close it down.
