Exercise: Multivalue parameter with null value for length

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file (if you have any problems doing this, click here for help).

You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.

Create a report which allows you to choose:

  • optionally, a minimum film length; and
  • one or more languages from a multivalue dropdown.

Your report should list out all films made in the languages you've chosen, lasting longer than the minimum length (if not null).  Overleaf shows what this report should look like.  Some things to remember:

  • You'll need two datasets
  • Don't forget to use the IN keyword, since you're using a multivalue droplist
