Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file (if you have any problems doing this, click here for help).

You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. This is because they contain diagrams and tables which would not be viewable easily on a mobile phone or small laptop. Please use a larger tablet, notebook or desktop computer, or change your screen resolution settings.

Create a new website, and add the files in the folder shown above into it.

Amend the frmFilms page so that it includes a View button as shown below (you can use the image file included):

What you should see if you click on the film shown

When you click on the view button for a film, a message should display the number of the film chosen (in an ideal world you'd see the film details in a separate page, but softly, softly catchy monkey ...).

You should intercept the RowCommand event, and use the button's CommandArgument to pick up on the underlying FilmId field value.

Save and close any files you have open!
