Exercise: Battleships - selecting variety of ranges

Before you can do this exercise, you'll need to download and unzip this file (if you have any problems doing this, click here for help).

You need a minimum screen resolution of about 700 pixels width to see our exercises. Welcome to the Wise Owl version of battleships!  First write a macro which selects the submarine in cell J10 shown below by its cell reference (your macro will have a single line).

Now write a separate macro to select the aircraft-carrier shown below:

The range to select is A1:D1

Finally, write a macro to select the battleship using its range name Battleship:

This diagram shows that someone has named the battleship range

Save your file as Battleships answer, then close it down.
