SQL Server Reporting Services training

If you're booking SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) training, make sure you get the right version!  There are big differences between SSRS 2005 and SSRS 2008 R2:

What Notes
Reporting Services 2008 R2 classes

We run two training courses in SQL Server 2008 R2 - a two-day introductory course and a two-day advanced course:

The two-day introductory course includes new SSRS features such as indicators, gauges and sparklines, while the two-day advanced course emphasises how to create VB functions and share them between reports, as well as showing far more about linking reports and using parameters and stored procedures.

Note that we also run training in Report Builder 3.0, for those preferring not to use BIDS for report creation.

SQL Reporting Services 2005 training

Our SSRS 2005 training courses show you how to use Business Intelligence Development Studio (part of Visual Studio 2005)  to create professional-looking reports in Reporting Services:

Have a look a what Microsoft introduced in later versions of Reporting Services, or download an example of our SSRS 2005 courseware.

If you're using SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 and aren't sure which course to go for, the 2008 R2 one would be much better for you.
